Miscellaneous Checks
Additional security checks Barrion runs that span multiple categories or address general security hygiene.
Barrion runs several additional checks that do not belong to a single security category but can still represent meaningful risk. Findings from these checks appear here.
What Barrion Checks
Vulnerable JavaScript Libraries
Barrion detects third-party JavaScript libraries loaded by your page that contain known vulnerabilities. Libraries are identified by version and checked against public vulnerability databases.
Third-party libraries are a common source of vulnerabilities. A single outdated dependency can introduce serious security issues into an otherwise well-secured application.
Severity: High
URL Security Scan
Barrion crawls your URL with the ZAP scanning engine and passively inspects the crawled traffic for known issues that header analysis alone cannot catch. It doesn't send attack payloads.
Severity: Varies, depending on what the scan finds
What to Do
Review each finding in your Barrion dashboard. Vulnerable library findings include the library name and version so your team can identify and update the affected dependency. URL security scan findings include a description of the issue and its severity to help you prioritize. Address Critical and High findings first.
